Good Neighbor Awards are the ultimate pat on the back for someone who has shown your neighborhood some love!
Nominate someone today All nominees will receive a certificate commemorating this honor, and the three finalists in each category will be highlighted at the Good Neighbor Awards Banquet on October 24.
(Deadline for nominations is August 29, 2013)
Categories are as follows:
Neighborhood of the Year will recognize one neighborhood for excellence in making their community a better place to live. This award is given in the current year to recognize past accomplishments in the neighborhood.
Best Neighborhood Communications Award, formerly the Neighborhood Newsletter Award, this category has been expanded to include electronic neighborhood communications. Websites, e-newsletters, email/sms notifications and paper newsletters will be considered.
Good Neighbor Award will honor an individual that demonstrates special care, concern and volunteers to make their neighborhood safer, more pleasant and a more beautiful neighborhood for all.
Best Neighborhood Project will recognize a special project completed in 2012 or 2013. It can be a social event, physical improvement project or an activity aimed at curbing crime. Big and small projects are encouraged to apply for this award.
Community Neighbor Award will recognize the businesses and other organizations both large and small that contribute to the improvement and well-being of your neighborhood.
Remember, all nominees will be recognized! This is a fabulous way of telling your neighbors that you think they are doing a great job!
Nominations must be postmarked or reach the Neighborhood Alliance office by 5 PM, August 29, 2013
