Chief Citty selected at 2015 Board of Directors Honoree

Oklahoma City Police Chief William Citty has been selected as the 2015 Neighborhood Alliance Board of Directors Honoree.

Chief Citty began his career with the Oklahoma City Police Department in 1977, and became Chief of Police on October 24, 2003. Among other things, Chief Citty is responsible for creating an active communications/support system between neighborhoods, citizens and police officers. His leadership has contributed to the excellent feedback citizens continue to give our Police Department.

Chief Citty will be presented the board honor at the 9th Annual Good Neighbor Awards. For the past nine years Neighborhood Alliance has honored individuals, organizations, and neighborhoods for their exceptional work to create safe, attractive and healthy neighbor.

Awards will be presented to the Good Neighbor of the Year, Neighborhood of the Year, Scout Finch Award, Neighborhood Project, Neighborhood Communications, and Community Neighbor of the Year at the Good Neighbor Awards Banquet held on November 5, 2015 at the Bricktown Chevy Events Center.
